For the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed components inside a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, stirring so the sugar melts. Next, take off the stove and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Decant to a clean bottle, cap it keeping it in the fridge, it can be stored for around one month.
For the Batch Mix: Mix all the spirits and syrup in a large bottle, leave to sit for one hour, then strain preferably using cheesecloth, making it completely strained.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of the cocktail base into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds to chill. Filter to a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, decorate with a few cranberries and complete it with a quick spritz with the mandarin essence over the top.
